“He went down with them and came to Nazareth,

and was obedient to them;

and his mother kept all these things in her heart.

And Jesus advanced in wisdom and age and favor before God and man.”

— Luke 2:51–52

With the impact of COVID-19 on our community, the format for EDGE (Middle School Youth Ministry for grades 9-12), will change slightly this year. We will hold in person meetings every other Wednesday from 6:45pm-8:15pm in St. Anselm Hall (located at St. Benedict School). On the week that EDGE does not meet in person, our Core team will provide an opportunity for a virtual gathering via Zoom or Google Hangout for Bible studies, small group discussions and games, particularly for those who might not feel safe meeting in person yet.  Please see the calendar for specific dates and times for EDGE.

The aim of EDGE & The Rule is to encounter and develop a relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, community, and service, to be formed as disciples in sharing God's love to the world.

To help offset the cost of curriculum and additional materials, our middle school youth ministry fee for this year is: $30 for the first and second youth, with a maximum of $80 per family. Please do not let fees be a burden, we want our Catholic faith to be accessible to everyone. Please contact us about assistance.

Please Note: Any in person gathering for young people under the age of 18 requires a temperature check and being able to answer 'No' to the following three questions:

  1. Do you currently have a fever (your temperature is 100.4 degrees or higher)?

  2. In the past two (2) weeks, have you presented symptoms of COVID-19, such as a fever, chills, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea, with no alternative diagnosis?

  3. In the past two (2) weeks, have you been exposed-less than six (6) feet for greater than 15 minutes-to anyone who has tested positive or exhibits symptoms of COVID-19 (with no alternative diagnosis), without wearing the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as defined by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention?

Please arrive a few minutes early on the day of in person gatherings in order to expedite the process. Thank you!
